Danielle Grant
serves as the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer of Fairfield, a vertically integrated operator and investment manager in the multifamily residential sector. Danielle joined Fairfield in 2021 and is responsible for Fairfield’s regulatory compliance program. She also sits on the firm’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) committee where she assists with guiding and implementing the firm’s ESG policy and reporting requirements. She has a 20+ year career working with registered investment advisors in the areas of compliance, risk and control management, marketing and operations. She has held senior roles with Allianz Global Investors in San Diego, CA, The Northern Trust Company in Chicago, IL and most recently with Frontier Global Partners in La Jolla, CA. She is also a Certified Securities Compliance Professional (CSCP), a member of the Southern California Compliance Group (SCCG) and the National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP)
Vice President Summary
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the President with every aspect of SCCG, including membership efforts, directing and facilitating meetings in his/her absence and coordinating the business plan. Work closely with the President to “mirror” his/her leadership.
- In the absence of a Speakers Bureau Chair, oversee programming for each SCCG Member Meeting, ensuring that each of our Members have an active voice and the opportunity to have input on agenda items. Arrange for guest speakers as needed or as requested by the Speakers Bureau. As needed, suggest topics for the Open Forum discussion portion of the Member Meetings.
- In the absence of the Membership Committee Chair, work with Administrator to manage all recruiting efforts, including spearheading Member Meetings, overseeing maintenance of the SCCG Membership Application and other documentation, and provide ideas for membership initiatives and marketing efforts to increase the membership.
- In the absence of a Social Chair, spearhead organization of and participation at Member networking events.
Qualifications:
Must be a Member in good standing of SCCG and be appointed by the President. Individual must perform the above essential duties satisfactorily and be willing to substitute for President, as required.
